Thursday 3rd November 2016

Conference: 9am – 12pm     AGM: 12pm– 12.30pm

The Waterside Hotel, Wilmslow Rd, M20 5WZ

Following the MSA taking over the management of the FFT Aspire data access this year and with the release of the new KS1 & KS2 2016 dashboards, feedback from some members has been that it would be useful to ‘re-launch’ FFT in Manchester. In response to this, FFT will be attending the MSA Autumn Conference to develop understanding of the system and highlight the benefits to schools. Stephen Turp, FFT LA Programme Manager, will be demonstrating the new dashboard, explaining the different reports in the system, looking at the filters and indictors, as well as talking about the use of Student Explorer and Collaborate and how to upload new pupils as they arrive at school. John Edwards, MCC Director of Education & Skills, will also be attending to talk about the Manchester picture and where we are as a whole in relation to outcomes/ data. The conference will then be followed by the MSA Annual General Meeting at which the final report and financial statements for 2015/16 will be available for viewing and at which members will be asked to get involved in making decisions for the year ahead such as electing new directors for the Board.

Places are FREE to MSA members and are limited (with a maximum 2 per school) so please book asap to avoid disappointment by contacting Lisa on 0161 248 1589 or at admin@manchesterschoolsalliance.co.uk
