Manchester is lucky to have several National Leaders of Governance already working within our schools. NLGs are highly effective chairs of governors who can support chairs in other schools. This can include coaching and mentoring, reviewing the responsibilities of the governing body, action planning, supporting academy conversion and advising on reviewing headteacher performance. Each NLG has up to 10 days per year that they can provide this support for FREE.
