Employee Assistance Programme
As members of the MSA, schools have access to an Employee Assistance Programme. This means that if your school is a member, ALL of your staff are able to access the following for FREE;
My Healthy Advantage App
ALL staff can access the new ‘My Healthy Advantage App’ that provides an enhanced set of wellbeing tools and features such as a weekly mood tracker, mini health checks and personalisation. Support such as that listed below can also be requested via the app. Please see the attached leaflets for more information on this. This can be downloaded for free from the Apple/ Android store.
Webinars and Online Programmes
There are a number of webinars available to all staff via the online portal (https://healthassuredeap.co.uk/webinars/) some of which that are topical at the moment;

- Coping with Bereavement
- Children’s Mental Health
- How to look after our wellbeing during coronavirus
There are also a number of 4-week programmes that can be accessed covering areas such as sleep, healthy lifestyle and coping better with stress (https://healthassuredeap.co.uk/four-week-programmes/)
24 hour Confidential Helpline
The 24 hour confidential support line can be used by ALL staff for support on a range of issues including financial, relationships, domestic abuse, housing and stress. Health Assured also offer very useful FREE advice and support on consumer rights and legal issues.
Structured Telephone and Face to Face Counselling
Staff can be referred for up to 6 structured telephone or face to face counselling sessions (these are hoped to be starting up in person again soon) Telephone counselling sessions can also be accessed by spouses or dependants.
