The aim of this Saturday morning session is to support governors in their role and help them to understand what they need to know when working towards excellent governance. During the morning, Allan Torr, ex-headteacher and recent HMI will be looking at what effective governance is and how this can be applied to the different models/ structures in the City as well as Ofsted readiness and the Ofsted framework.
