This network has been created by the MSA in partnership with MCC specifically for primary, secondary and special school history subject leaders. Led by Debi Bailey (one of the LA’s quality assurance professionals), it aims to provide a range of effective strategies, approaches and knowledge that will help you in this important role and provide you with the tools and approaches to support effective learning across your subject or phase. The aim is to work together, learn together and provide ‘down-to-earth’ practical suggestions to draw on the excellent practice in our schools.
The network objectives include the following:
To understand the key roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of subject leaders and relate these to the latest frameworks and teaching standards.
Places on each network meeting are FREE, however they initially limited to 1 per school. To book your place, email MCRSchoolsAlliance@manchesterschoolsalliance.co.uk confirming the name, role and email address of the attendee.
