Feedback from recent E-Safety Manchester Workshops ran by Sharon Girling OBE was extremely positive. Key points from the sessions will be collated and shared with all schools.
The LA Safeguarding in Education Team have produced a report based on the outcomes of last year’s safeguarding audit, this will be shared with schools ASAP.
The 16/17 audit will be circulated to schools in the summer term. Timescales proposed for return were felt to be unrealistic by the members of the group, this is going to be fedback to the LA.
A list of all policies a school should have and where they can be found is going to be brought to the next meeting to identify gaps or outdated information.
